Hypnosis
Hypnosis enables you to use personalized affirmations in the form positive suggestions in a relaxed state to help you achieve your personal goals.
Mindful Hypnosis
Hypnosis is commonly used to help with motivation, self-esteem, self-confidence augment job or sports performance and much more…
According to Mayo Clinic “Hypnosis, also referred to as hypnotherapy or hypnotic suggestion, is a trance-like state in which you have heightened focus and concentration. Hypnosis is usually done with the help of a therapist using verbal repetition and mental images. When you’re under hypnosis, you usually feel calm and relaxed, and are more open to suggestions. Hypnosis can be used to help you gain control over undesired behaviors or to help you cope better with anxiety or pain. It’s important to know that although you’re more open to suggestion during hypnosis, you don’t lose control over your behavior.”
For anyone considering hypnosis I highly recommend Dr. Leena Guptha. Through hypnosis she was able to help me be more organized at home. With that success I continued hypnosis to help my problem with weight control.

Guided Imagery
The National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health describes Guided imagery as “a relaxation technique in which people learn to focus on pleasant images to replace negative or stressful feelings. Guided imagery may be self-directed or led by a practitioner or a recording.”
As part of the rapidly emerging field of mind/body medicine, guided imagery can be used to complement various settings and when practiced properly can be a highly effective form of self-care and education. If you are a good worrier and especially if you ever worry yourself sick you may be a good candidate to learn how to positively affect your health with imagery.
Focused imagery in a relaxed state of mind has a remarkable range of self-regulating capacities. Guided Imagery uses imagery to treat people rather than symptoms. Imagery can be used for minor ailments or pains to enhancing immune system function. Imagery utilizes your own perceptions of the day-to-day environment interacting with the health issue to achieve your realistic agreed goals.
Dr. Leena is an amazing holistic doctor. She listens and takes the time to find out what is important to you. Through hypnosis and the use of affirmations I was able to make positive and lasting changes in my life. Initially, I was skeptical about hypnosis and the use of affirmations to address the concerns I had. The process was beneficial, but I felt the true test would be if I could maintain the positive changes independently over time. I have not seen Dr. Leena in several years, but I continue to use the affirmations on a daily basis.
